Well this blog has sat idle for far too long. It really was only updated for a couple of month back in 2007. Since then a lot has changed… We moved to England in 2010 and life has been crazy. I have just retired so there is no longer a good excuse for not doing a bit more.
Our son Max is now 14…almost 15 and wants to learn more about my cooking. Same goes for all of our nieces and nephews who are all now grown and always asking how I make certain dishes.
Since moving to the UK, I have changed how I cook and the words I use. Scales instead of cups…prawn instead of shrimp, etc, I’ll try to do both American and British measurements and words going forward.
Finally, apologies for the poor quality of the old photos. Monitors had much lower resolution back then. As I remake dishes, I’ll update the images over time.
