Garlicky Green Beans

Simple side, adding chopped garlic to the blanching liquid for an extra kick of flavour.

  • 1 medium pot
  • 1 Knife


  • 240 g green beans fresh, trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 cloves of garlic , coarsely chopped
  • 1.5 l water
  • 2 tbsp salt


  • Add water, salt and garlic to the pot and bring to a boil.
  • Add green beans and reduce to a simmer.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Drain and serve.
