We&#8217;ll have to wait a couple of weeks for the flavors to develop with these to see if they are what she was looking for.<\/p>\n<p><em>Update: WAY TOO SALTY. Next time I will try 1 teaspoon. I think there was a typo in the full recipe that I reduced.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<br \/>\n<\/strong>4 medium cucumbers (cut into spears)<br \/>\n2 Hungarian wax peppers (pierced)<br \/>\n1 cayenne pepper (pierced)<br \/>\n2 pearl onions<br \/>\n2 heads of dill<br \/>\n1 cup vinegar<br \/>\n2 cups water<br \/>\n1\/4 cup salt<\/p>\n<p>Yields 1 quart<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil<\/p>\n<p>2. Stuff sterilized quart jar with vegetables and dill<br \/>\n<a title=\"100_4728.jpg\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/tonypauley.com\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/100_4728.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/tonypauley.com\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/100_4728.jpg?w=1920&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"100_4728.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.
