It is generally quick, simple and full of complex flavors. Yesterday was my first attempt at making spring rolls, not the fried kind (which I LOVE) but the fresh kind with the soft, translucent wrappers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0;\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">These are wonderful if you are trying to eat healthy. There\u2019s nothing bad in them, just veggies and shrimp. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">We took extra shrimp noodles and vegatbles and made a salad including fresh radish sprouts. Yummy!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Ingredients<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">For sauce<br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1 green onion, thinly sliced<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00bc cup fish sauce<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Juice of one lime<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00bd cayenne pepper, thinly sliced<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 tsp sugar<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00bc cup water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">For spring rolls<br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">12 shrimp cut in half lengthwise<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1 tsp chili paste<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Juice of one lime<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 tbsp minced fresh ginger<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1\/4 cup chopped cilantro<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 green onions<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 carrots<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1 cucumber<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">2 cayenne peppers<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1 cup chopped mixed herbs (cilantro, mint, and basil)<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Bean thread cellophane noodles<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">8 leaves of baby lettuce<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Spring roll wrappers<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">4 cups of water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Directions<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">1. Heat 4 cups of water a pour into a large bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">6.
